General

Are Greenline Australia cleaning products produced in Australia?

Yes, our products are produced in Sydney, Australia.

Greenline Australia is part of a global company, Greenline Global which has been creating these amazing products for 10 years. As we are a new company in Australia we have started with receiving part of the product which we use in our production from our global company and then we mix and package it here. Once we grow we will begin producing from scratch in Australia for Australia and Asia Pacific.

We see this as the best way to get rid of toxins everywhere in the world. Our goal is to have licensees in every country working together to clean up all industries

What does toxin free or non-toxic mean?

Toxic Free or Non-Toxic means the product has no harmful chemicals/ingredients

Why are toxin free or non-toxic products important?

Toxin free or non-toxic products can do the job without having a negative impact that toxic products have on the environment, humans and animals.

What does plant and mineral based mean?

Plants and mineral based refers to the ingredients we use. The ingredients come only from plants and minerals that grow in nature and can then be returned into our natural environment doing no harm. These are the building blocks, of our formulations. This contrasts with fossil fuel-derived or petrochemical ingredients, which are non-renewable, and synthetic ingredients that are not found in nature.

What is a 3rd party certifier?

A 3rd party certifier is an independent organisation that has reviewed the manufacturing process of a product and has independently determined that the final product complies with specific standards for safety, quality or performance. This review typically includes comprehensive formulation/material reviews, testing and facility inspections. Most certified products bear the certifier’s mark on their packaging to help consumers and other buyers make educated purchasing decisions. By being certified by a 3rd party, this provides the evidence that there is honesty and transparency in the labelling of green and sustainable products.

What is GreenTag certified?

Global GreenTag is one of the world’s most robust, trusted and widely recognised ecolabels. They independently assure that every product is fitness tested and certified under one of their two leading certification programs that use world’s best scientific methods.

Are Greenline Australia cleaning products GreenTag certified?

Yes. By becoming GreenTag Certified we know our customers can feel secure in their choice and purchase of Greenline Australia Cleaning products.

Through our GreenTag certification we have also earned the reputation and trust of thousands of buyers, hundreds of companies and numerous green building councils, certification bodies and governments around the world.

Products

Are your products safe on all surfaces?

Please refer to the product descriptions on our website for the recommended surfaces for each product.  Click here to view our products

How do you know that your products kill at least 99.99% of bacteria and germs?

Our products have been tested by Eurofins, an international group of laboratories that provide services to the pharmaceutical, food, environmental, agriscience, consumer products industries and government and they have provided us with this rating.

What does log reduction mean?

Log (short for logarithm) reduction is a mathematical calculation that shows how effective a product is at reducing bacteria and germs from a surface by sanitising or cleaning.

Our surface sanitiser and bathroom & shower cleaner have both been classified as 6 Log reduction which means the number of bacteria and germs after sanitising or cleaning is 1,000,000 times smaller.

Don't cleaning products need alcohol to be a sanitiser? Your products don't have any. How will they

You can trust that our cleaning products works as sanitisers without alcohol as they have been tested by Eurofins laboratories and have been rated as a 6-log reduction as explained previously.

Some of your products directions say sanitiser (on-food contact surfaces). What does this mean?

This is referring to cutting boards. It won’t be considered sanitised on this surface, but all other areas it will. This is due to HACCP regulations. There is no problem for it to touch these cutting boards and the food, it just won’t be considered a sanitiser.

Why do you avoid certain ingredients and which ones are they?

One of Greenline’s mission is to reduce the use of dangerous toxic chemicals globally. Therefore, we don’t use any harsh chemicals in our products.

We avoid the following products;

  • CHLORINE BLEACH
  • AMMONIA
  • SODIUM LAURETH SULFATE (SLES)
  • SODIUM LAURYL SULFATE (SLS)
  • COCODIETHANOLAMIDE (CDE)
  • CHLOREOMETHYLISOTHIAZOLINONE (CMIT)
  • METHYISOTHISZOLINONE/MIT

We would love to share more details on why we avoid these ingredients with you. So if you would like to please email us directly info@greenlineaustralia.com.au

Do you use fragrances or essential oils in your products?

Yes, we do add Essential oils to our products to add a nice smell to the product and have a positive impact on your senses. We use Lavender, Eucalyptus and Rose Geranium essential oils. However, we do not add any synthetic fragrances as they usually contain several allergens.

Health & Safety

Are your products safe to use around children and pets?

Yes, all our products are safe for pets, babies and adults.

Our products are a 100% vegan friendly and they are not tested on animals .

What is the shelf life of Greenline Australia cleaning products?

The shelf life of all our products is 24 months.

Packaging

Are your bottles recyclable?

Due to the shortage of Post Consumer Resin (PCR) materials globally, we are currently using bottles that are recyclable. Please ensure you place your bottles in the recycle bin to become PCR.

Our aim is to use up to 80% PCR material to prevent new plastic from being made, and our packaging can be disposed of, recycled and re-used.

What is Post Consumer Resin (PCR) material?

PCR Material is the recycled product of plastic waste created by consumers when recycling. When we are able, we will practice the maintenance of the closed-loop system, which is knowing where our materials come from and where they go to after use.
